Another nanotone study called Boog (which is dutch for arch, arc or bow). Whereas my former 13 studies in nano-tonality merely focussed on vertical and block-like structures, this is an attempt to compose something more melodic, one large horizontal structure: an arched form, streching over 5 minutes. Apart from two massive spectral condensates in the middle (which are again vertical: a male column followed by female column), the arch itself is rather fragile and etheric. boog.aiff 51.91 MB audiofile, 5 minutes, stereo, 16 bit, 44.1 kHz. boog-small.jpg Graphic JPEG score of the music. boog-large.jpg An enlarged score with precise start- and end-times of wavelets, but without envelope-grayscaling. boog-textlog.gz Gzipped textfile in which all wavelets were logged. c07_composition2003.c C sourcodes used in combination with c06_Hmelody.c Spectroscopic Toolkit to re-generate c01_massiveCloud.c the composition Boog (audio, score and logfiles).
